Since you're in MA, why not just rent a trailer or truck and pick it up? Get three friends to help unload.

Stewart Transport is great - no worries.

I concur, if you're in Mass, rent a Uhaul car trailer if you have a vehicle to tow it (or can borrow one). FFR can help you load, provide food and beer to friends to help you unload.

Had them deliver mine, got here on time and in great shape, driver helped unload. Being in southern Va. I could not go and pick mine up, for what they charged even with my own trailer.
Good company to work with.

I live in northern Mass..(Merrimac)..About 100 miles away..from FFR..I figure by the time I rent a truck and pay for mileage and gas..back and forth(200miles)..I will be close to what they are going to charge me....My concern is that I have been told they put it on the floor of the truck and am wondering if the powdercoating is going to get damaged..Anyone ever have a powder coated frame delivered by them..Thank you

Bad-My #2937 was shipped and arrived on schedule at the west coast and the powder coated frame didn't have a mark on it. I highly recommend Stewart Trans. Roger B.

oh, one other thing, they have (2) different trucks. one of the trucks has a special hoist on it that makes it REALLY easy to get it off the truck (the other truck doesnt and it's a real pain in the rump). i'd ask for the truck that has the hoist if you can get it!

Service was great, but they use a zone rate and cut no deals.
That said, your so close I'd go get it.

I really liked dealing with Stewart. The driver was a really nice guy. He had the trailer with the hoist, and it was a piece of cake loading it onto my flat-bed (his truck wouldn't fit down my driveway, so I had to meet him in a nearby grocery parking lot). Plus, you save the crate fee with Stewart. My frame wasn't powder-coated, though. They can fit 13 FFRs on ONE of those trailers!! I was his first or second stop. It was crazy seeing that trailer packed full of replicas. He was going to end up in CA.

Actually they cut deals, you just have to order more than one or two (as far as I know). I had planned to not use them but then needed to. Very helpful and well done.

Stewart is top drawer!! However, since you are almost around the corner from FFR, why not, as was suggested, rent a flatbed and get it yourself. A chance to visit the factory too.

Frank.
