Is it just me or did FFR leave out the instructions for mounting the steering wheel?

I am guessing that you needed to keep the mounting screw and washer from the donor steering wheel. What size was the screw and washer?

I am figuring that you set the distance to be just enough to allow the steering hub to clear the dash or further out if you like, correct?

You got it! Sorry, I don't know what size the bolt/washer is. My memory is that it's metric.

Just pulled mine off the donor shaft and put it on the Cobra a few weeks ago. The head of the bolt is 15 mm and there was no washer, although the head rounds out to a circular shape where the threads begin. Not sure of the size, but just big enough to fit into the recessed area. Not sure of the thread size off hand.

I do not have the bolt either. Bought a 3/8" fine; did not work. The 15 mm is the head; what is the bolt shaft size in metric?

The thread seems to be 10mm. I found a leftover bolt with a 13mm head. I can't ind a 15mm head with a 10mm thread. ANyone have an extra one of these? Do you really not need to use a washer?
