Anyone see any problems with putting the steering shaft in prior to engine install?
I'm not sure how much clearance there is when hoisting the engine/trans in the bay and don't want to make things too difficult.
I assume you're talking about a Gen 3 Coupe? For mine with a Coyote, the steering column had to be completely removed. Due to the different frame compared to earlier versions, it wouldn't swing out of the way enough to allow the engine to clear. I don't know about other engines.
