I'm looking at a winter project to upgrade my steering rack from the current converted stock power to manual to the Flaming River FR1503 20:1 ratio. The current rack is quick ratio and with our road conditions makes the car unsafe as soon as it finds a grove or pothole.
During the original build I replaced the rag joint with the Flaming River alumium shaft FR1504AL-P, linking the DD tube to the rack.
My question is can I save the shaft by replacing only 1 of the U-joint the rack end. If so would someone know what the part number is for this Ujoint.
Thanks
Jimmy

I think that Mark at Breeze Automotive can help you with this, he sells the individual knuckles, and can fit you up.
