Can any one comment on the benefits or reasons for using solid aluminum bushings (as sold by Breeze) versus the stock rubber/polyurethane ones you can get from either JEGS or Summit for mounting the steering rack in a MkIII? My intuition says the solid is going to transmit more vibrations? Any input or comments are appreciated!

The solids will transmit more vibrations but also more feel and will be more precise with respect to steering input. Not really needed in a street car so it depends what you're going for.
