Well after 14 months to the day the longest build on record took that great next step! After a dozen passes up and down the driveway just as the sun was going down, my co-pilot (daughter Laura, 11) said "come on dad all of the parts that could have fallen off have already come off, let's go" and so we did! WOW very cool. I had to come back and pick up the rest of the gang each for their individual rides. The wife actually told me this morning that she thought it was cool too.
Everything felt good. Steering was tight and it ran smooth until I got on it where it sort of bogged down. I can make the sound, but I'd have trouble typing it. Let's just say it ran rough with any kind of pedal. Is that what it does when the computer hasn't taken over? Do I need a tune up or do I have something hooked up wrong?
Thanks for all your collective help getting to this great milestone!!!!!
