I could be mistaken, but I think that body is from Mr. Potatohead's Deer Slayer (a little tiff with a deer...) Someone else has the other half, going to use it for home decor. Very cool!

Let's see, Mr. PH hits deer, no, deer hits Mr. PH. Car gets little scratch so Mr. PH wants new one. Gets wish.

The Russmeister and Big Iron have this grand scheme (I think they paid the deer) to each get half a baked potato for keeps. Mr. PH agrees and all ends well.

Oh, another good point is it's much easier to install the body this way.

You all guessed right. I don't know how Weendoggy found out we paid the Deer!!!!
Russ & I each have a door, half a hood and trunk deck. Front and rear quickjacks, 427 emblem, and a louver. I made new sidepipes so Russ and I each get one of my old ones. I have two sets of rims and tires, so which ever set I am not using bolts on to the wall mount. I don't no what Russ is doing for tires and rims.
The only things not coverd are front and rear lights. Any doners out there?

I'll get'cha for that.
I went to visit my new body, primed but yet still unpainted yesterday with the new color... although they are getting real close.
It appears all the sanding and blocking is done and it looks really, really great.
Big Iron did a huge favor for me and drove the chassis about a mile from his house to the body shop.
The body, as we speak, is being fitting the new doors, trunk and hood. Hopefully the body and chassis will be one again in a few weeks.
Keep your pet deer inside the "Potato" will cook again!

See...........this is what happens when ya have to much time on your hands............. The guy gets a little

Actually Lar I like the car that way.............. What ya need to do is put it on a lazy susan at Knotts or in the
lobby at Saturday nites dinner. I'm thinking a bigger hit than with a full body. Dave Smith would flip out......
