No mods needed. Just put the gear and clip from your old cable on the 3015 and put it in the tranny. It will screw right on to the SW or AM speedo. Cheers Richard.

I reviewed the previous speedo cable topics and I purchased the pioneer CA 3015. My question is do I also have to buy a new gear set or am I able to modify it to work with my present gears (87 mustang tranny)?
