PS... My 3.55's w/ OD (1995 stock tranny 5th gear) runs at 1900-2000rpms (motor kind of feels lugged down here). What speed am I doing...hahaha. Really, I don't have a speedo hooked up and this answer will give me an idea of how fast I am going until I progress forward with the build (too much fun driving). Approx is all I need.

Thx
Matt

I run 3.55's and from 1900 to 2000 rpm, I'm between 60 and 70 in 5th.

If you give me the over drive ratio, and rear tire size, I will give you a very close speed.

What size wheels you have will make a difference. I have 17 inch wheels, 3.55 rear and a T5Z and in fifth I am cruising 75 at 2000 RPM

Matt,

315/35-17's are 25.75" dia. The T-5 has a .68 overdrive. With 3.55's, that gives you about 66 MPH at 2,000 RPM in 5th.

I'm in the same boat as you. Got a cheap GPS.Gives speed to 1/10 of mph.More accurate than radar.

I'm running 275/40/17 with 3.55 gears. 5th is about 72 at 2000 rpm. Gps helped me dial in the correct speedo gear

Yep. In my computer sim, I get 63 MPH, that's counting the Drag Co at like ONE.

I never looked "closely" but by the time it stops "lugging", its around 70mph at 2000RPM; I have T5WC with 3.55 rear, and 315/35-17 rear tires.
