Does anyone have experience with passing smog in CA via production year of the block(I plan to run a 68-69 production year block) while running after market heads (Victor Jr., TFS, etc.)and carb/intake installed?

I have heard different takes on this.

Thanks

Just ordered my a FFRIII today!

I will receive the kit early next year (logistically unable to receive before Jan 1st)... Sorry for the dumb question. If I go SB100, can I drive the car even though during 2006 until the big day on Jan 2 2007?

Thanks,

Tony

Tony, if you run the 68-69 block and DON'T use sb100# you need the 69 smog stuff and that's it.

When I started building my coupe, sb100 had been vetoed by the gov first time around so I had the Engine Factory build my motor using a 69 block. I could get it registered using just the somg equiptment required back then.

How about running ported heads and aftermarket intakes. Is it a no no with the ref?
