The car has 1500 miles on it now, and in the last two drive(sub zero weather)when I'm tooling around in second gear, without holding the shifter, it will pop out of gear and back into neutral...
Any ideas??
Cheers Ray
It is the stock mustang shifter, and thats what I thought, seems as if the rubber boot isn't as plyable in the cold
Maybe I should put it away for the winter.

Make sure the hole is large enough to allow the shifter to go all the way in to gear. I have had this problem before when you put the shifter in gear make sure it does not contact the alum.
