I took these pictures of my front splash guards. I have a 1st. Gen. Coupe so hopefully this helps. I glassed in three brackets to fasten the aluminum supplied by Factory 5. Then added additional pieces
to the upper to close the gap between the upper and lower aluminum.
When closed the weather stripping sits on the lower part Just past the front suspension.

Looks good.I was having trouble getting them to mate.Sounds like a plan Thanks Jim.............
