Considering some options here.
I really like the look of the mill finish aluminum panels when they are new and fresh. After some time and oxidation, not so much. I know Greg M and others have had great success with Sharkhide on their polished panels but I can't remember anyone doing the treatment to "raw" panels. Have you? How's it holding up? Has anyone found smaller quantities than quarts (I'd only be doing engine bay panels so imagine a quart would be 2-3 times what is needed, right)? Other comments welcome!

Thanks,
Jeff

Sharkhide

Jeff,
I also really like the matte mill finish on the new panels and I'm interested in Sharkhide treatment as well. Seems like a durable chip-free finish...

I would think if it works well on polished aluminum it would bite even better to the coarser mill finish provided the parts are wiped down with solvent first.

Hopefully others will chime in but I'm inclined to try it.

I used it on all the panels polished and natural. The natural ones are now covered with carpet and bedlineer so they don't show but it kept them realy purdty during the build. I would recommend it.
