I just received my mark III a few weeks ago and it's #4426. I've noticed others with much higher numbers that are already built. Does FF serial numbers go in order? If so, why is mine so low?

Chances are you got a kit that a customer had ordered and cancelled for some reason. Reasons could be as simple as "Hmmm, I have more money now, I think I'll change my order" Or they built the order for someone and they got the build jitters and backed out of the deal.

I ordered early and then put my delivery date off until the Mark III's were out. I think that's why I got such a low number.

4114 (or something like FFR4114RD)

FFR tends to (but not always) assign your kit number based on your original order date. The Serial number is the Frame's serial number, which gets assigned at the time they actually build the frame. Kit numbers generally are approximately 1000 numbers higher than Frame numbers. This appears to be due to FFR starting kit numbers at 1000 originally.
