The Ohio Cobra Club, as part of the 2020 London Cora Show, is raffling off serial #001 of the 25 Factory Five Racing’s 25th Anniversary Mark IV Roadster kits. This is your chance to, perhaps, win serial #001 as a complete running roadster. To purchase your raffle tickets, please go to https://londoncobrashow.com/tickets

The cost per ticket is $20 and you do not have to be at the show to win. The Cobra will be given away Saturday evening, June 27, 2020, at around 9:30 pm – regardless of the actual number of tickets sold.

For those that are not aware, Jenny, the daughter of Dave Smith, owner of Factory Five Racing, suffering from cystic fibrosis is the reason the net proceeds from the show’s raffles have always been donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). Past raffles have allowed donations of $1,423,000.00 to CFF.

Serial #001 will have a beautiful Jeff Kleiner paint job - very similar to the FFR prototype - as Jeff has volunteered his time and efforts in doing the bodywork and paint. So take a chance on winning this beautiful Cobra - it is a WIN WIN - either you win the Cobra or your money goes to support research into finding new medicines to fight cystic fibrosis.

Jenny will be one of our speakers at the 2020 Saturday night dinner. With your help, we can honor Jenny with our largest ever CFF donation.

Seeing as I'm going win, can I have Jeff do it in a different color? >:)
Hey Rich:

Once you win it, am certain Jeff would be willing to paint it any color you want. Ha.

Thanks

Would like to thank the following London Cobra Show raffle ticket purchasers:

Joe from Ancaster, ON.

Jason from Lucas, TX.

Do hope someone from this forum is the winner of the beautiful FFR replica.

I don't think we raffled a car the first two years, not sure about the third year. But some guy who won in '04 was traveling and in England when we called.

Then a dog won one year and a 21 year old college kid.

I only remember one Cobra owner winning the raffle car in 18 years. SO, the odds are in our favorite this year.
Yep, it's our time to win.

I'm buying extra ticket.

Hey Dwight!
There was not a raffle car at the original Double Venom Spring Fling in 2001---heck it was just going to be a picnic for a bunch of Cobra guys and nobody expected it to be as big as it was and certainly didn't think that there would still be Cobras gathering in London Ohio in June of 2020. DVSF II in 2002 raffled a raw, completely unbuilt Factory Five Daytona Coupe which was won by a Cobra owner, Tony Ripepi, from California who ultimately built it. 2003 also saw a Cobra owner take home the raffle car; a gentleman from Illinois named Bob Sutton who attended the show with his yellow roadster (a B&B or Midstates as I recall). He was present at the Madison County airport on Sunday afternoon when his ticket was drawn for a beautiful Kirkham 289 FIA. The 2004 Car was Ed Combs original Viper powered "Double Venom" Classic Roadster however the winner was not present. 2005 was a bit of an unfortunate and uncomfortable transition year with no raffle car but there has been one every year since. To the best of my recollection the last time a winner was present was 2007! We'll hope that the lucky winner will be in attendance this June!

Cheers,
Jeff

Jeff,
I really like this color combination. I have been ordering samples very similar to this. Can you tell me the paint codes that were used (or is this not the actual car you painted/will be painting??).
Thanks

Glen,
The car in the photo above is Factory Five's 25th Anniversary prototype and is done in Fiat "Grigio Steel Metallic" (code 647) and Toyota "White Pearl" (code 049). Anniversary car #1, the raffle car, will be a near twin but I think I'm going to switch the silver to Lamborghini Titanium---it's one of very few silvers that actually has some depth. Here's an example of it on one I painted a few months ago:
