this past weekend speedvision had racing in sebring(backyard) and it was so hot they melted tarmac, anyway in the 49 min caution to resurface sections of track they had snippets of racing in the sixties with footage of daytonas and cobras. Way cool, good thing speedvision has stuff other than nascar.

I just found this site. This old Cobra vs. Ferrari story is cool. I am a native of Sebring and love the 12 hours. My Dad went to the first event in 1950. It was 6 hours then. He tells stories about the Cobras, GT40s, etc. My first race was in '68. People should come to see vintage and historic races at least once. It is a thrill. I know this is way late, but i still enjoyed the artical very much. Thank you.
