I know someone posted on here a while ago that they found a new style of rivnut tool somewhere....like maybe at SEMA or something? Does anyone remember this or what it was called or where to get it? Seems like it was powered by a cordless drill?

Yes, that is what I was looking for! Thanks! Just put one on order. I found lots of similar units, but they are all metric-only.

Shane: I just stumbled on this thread. How did the tool work out? I wish I had seen this a year ago.

Love it. Works great.....you just need to be gentle with the drill. If you have a fairly hi-torque drill, you need to just go really slow with it and you can pretty much feel when the rivnut gets tight and then stop the drill. For impatient people, I can see going thru a ton of mandrels as you either snap them off or stretch the threads. I've been using it for years with no problems other than replacing the mandrel once after letting someone else use it.....
