Here's the deal-i-yo. We started with a stock (carb'd) donor motor + a 3.73 rear to make it fun. We were going to change the rear gear when we upgraded the motor. Well, 0.2 miles later a friend of ours gave us his slightly tweaked engine (~365hp). The rear end is new and we don't want to change it again.
I feel that this hp + gear might = rpm's fast. Would you recomend using a rev limiter? Do you know of a rev limiter out there that's built into a dizzy? Thanks

I used the MSD6AL box with a changable rev limiter. It is set to 6,000 rpm. I can hit it with ease. Glad it's there.

i will second that, i have the 6AL also set to 6000 and i have not had mine on the real road but i can hit it quickly also.

I used the FMS(made by MSD) with the same limiter as MSD with little plug in resistors in 200 rpm incriments.
