I built my car with a Lakewood bellhousing on the 460 modified by Mike Forte to use the Fox body cable clutch setup. I was running a TKO600 with no issues.

I am changing gears and swapping the motor into another car and am considering running a Toploader trans instead of the TKO. The trans I have is a large input.

Is there a release bearing out there that will fit into the Fox body release fork but also have the larger ID to fit over the larger input shaft of the Toploader?

I can switch back to a an older style mechanical clutch linkage if there is no other way but I figure this route would cut down on the $$$....

Thanks!

The release bearing (throwout bearing) rides on the front bearing retainer of the trans. Is the toploader a different size? I don't remember it being an issue when I swapped in a big block toploader for my old T-10 years ago. The clutch disc of course was different.
