what is the best way to attach wiring to the rear tail lights? Coupe supplied lights have rolled tabs. Solder? Pinch a bullet connector? specialty connector?
Thanks
Mike M.
Weatherpak connectors are a good choice. You can pull the individual pins from the connector if needing to remove say, just one light, or simply unplug the entire connector from the harness if need be.
When I was building my car a few years back they were all the rage. Not aware of anything better so far.
what about the actual connection to the tail light housing assembly? It looks like a rolled piece of metal. nothing I have seen will fit in this. Should I solder the wire to this rolled tab, or is there some speciality connector which is to be used?
I drilled a small hole in each connector, slid the stripped wire in the hole and soldiered, shrink wrapped and used weather-paks to allow for easy removal of individual lights.
Edwardb’s Gen 3 Type 65 Coyote Coupe #59 Build
Time to start another build! This will be my fourth FF build, and the first one that doesn't look like a Roadster. I’ve always had my eye on the Type 65 Coupe. When Factory Five announced the Gen 3 Coupe, I started considering it more seriously. I...
I am considering building a Daytona Coupe. I am in the research stage of the process. I am torn between building a car with all the modern (as many as I can afford) conveniences/”stuff” (e.g., cruise control, ABS brakes, fuel injection, modern engine, etc. modern color, no race car stripes...
Finally, been a long time coming. I got the car out of the garage on all wheels, the idle fixed, fuel pressure set etc.
Well on the way to a good tune, i'm good at tuning, apparently i'm not good w installing or adjusting the trans though.

Hi All
Sorry its a little late this year... I'm waiting for approval on the last few images to send to the printer. I'm told 3 day turnaround so I should be able to ship in a week or so to get it there by Christmas.
This year there are a couple of changes.
The first, and most obvious, is...
Long time lurker, but I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a Gen 3 coupe this spring. A few questions for planning purposes though:
-When I first looked at a FFcar years ago, I thought I remembered there was a fairly good aftermarket community for parts (air conditioner/heater kits...
