I have the trailer adaptor. The hand drawn wiring diagram I copied from the forum a few weeks ago seems not to match the adaptor. Anyone used the Hoppy 46255 adaptor to wire rear lights that can send a wire-by-wire diagram? Please? Why does it need to be tied into the battery?

By the way spent a few hours in SRP's shop on Saturday...Sweeeeet!!!!

The trailer adapters which require a power wire can handle the amperage required to make all four lights in the rear perform as parking, brake and turn signal lights. The adapters which do not require a separate power wire can not handle more than 2.5 amps, which limits them to only being wired to one light on each side. I used the non-powered variety. Here's my diagram: http://www.ffrcobra.com/pab/Turn%20-%20Brake%20Wiring.gif

Paul, thanks. That's the diagram I was referring to. Guess I'll just "trial and error".
