I need to adjust the body heighth over the wheels in the rear. I've got the donor setup with a sold rear. What's the easiest way to raise up the body over one of the wheel wells?

Easy? Not! We use sping compression tools and make small rotations at a time. Others un-do the lower arm, but we think that's a pain.

1. jack up rear of car and support frame rails on stands. Let the rear hang by the cables.
2. place floor jack under rear of lower control arm and just barely take the pressure off so you can remove the rear bolt.
3. lower jack (and control arm)
4. turn spring (it should be loose at this point)
5. jack rear of arm back into place
6. re-install and retorque rear bolt -- you may have to use a drift or screwdriver to align the hole.

I've done it a few times. Total for both sides is about 30 minutes.

I've switched to rear coilovers so it's real easy now but when I had the coil springs I used a pair of spring compressors rather than unbolt the lower control arm. Remove the limiting strap, jack the car up, compress the spring, and turn.
