I was trying to find if people had commonly put a union in the rear brake line run on a car where they did not use the factory included steel lines? The stock lines have a union because they are not that long. I don't have to, but it makes install more difficult.

See this, thoughts?

I try to do the front-to-back brake line as one piece and avoid unions. Two less connections to possibly leak. Have been successful doing that in all but one build. Yes, makes the line harder to get into place and maybe have to do a final bend once one end is in. But I personally wouldn't make the decision based on the possible need to remove the line. The likelihood of needing to remove it is low. And if it did come to that, you could cut it somewhere along the length as needed and still have enough material to flare and add a union to replace.

Either way is fine. Doing it in one piece is a bit more tedious. I've done a lot of different cars and never had an issue either way. .
