Did anyone have to due more to the "bends" in the aluminum. My floor piece dosn't align flush with the lip of the grill opening. This stuff is tuff to bend! Do I also need a piece of the body molding under this lip as well as the sides???

Thanks. Dick

The aluminum goes under the lower lip of the opening and is held with screws (or fastening of choice). I had to tweak the tabs at the ends, but not much futzing really. No molding on that piece.

I did tweek the bends a little and also trimmed quite a bit off of the front (not sure how much) to make it fit better. I didn't use any molding or attach to the body. I just thought it looked cleaner that way. I made a bracket to hold the bottom of the radiator and attached the lower aluminum to the radiator with chrome button heads.

I did something like Doug S on trimming mine on the front edge, then used some stick-on foam insulation from the kit (trunk lid molding?) to keep the front edge from rattling against the fiberglass body.
