Have 1988 donor speed density was wondering if installing aluminum gt40 y303 heads NEW available for sale as well or I will keep them and install with a cobra upper and lower intake, plus 65mm throttle body will I really need to go with Mass Air or would my speed density system handle this type of upgrade? Just in case anyone is interested in the heads email [email protected]

Keep in mind there is nothing wrong with speed density also. Its just not the best to have for bolt on performance parts. My 88 uses speed density and its great, but the motor is stock.

just something to keep in mind

I had no problem with an explorer motor (gt-40 heads) using a stock 88 intake and speed density. Where the change to mass air is required is when you up the cam. Of course I had the explorer cam and went to an e303, so big change.
