Duh,

After I ordered my kit with the 4 into 4's. I didn't even think about the possibility I may need cats. Could someone enlighten me?

Also, what about the front license plate? What are you doing about that?

They'll inspect it as a 1965, so they won't even check for cats. In fact, when you go to get it inspected, you won't have to even wait in line, because they will all trip over themselves to be the one to inspect it.

Check out the FAQ on registration. If you follow the Texas instructions, your emissions level won't matter because you'll have a 1965 car (as far as I know).

I was thinking the same thing, but those headers sure do look better than a j-pipe or cat!

I went to the tax office yesterday to get copies of the transportation. I'll try to get the pages posted today. Pg 197-201 of the trans code.

Saw a front plate mount at the Mile High event in Topeka that was either hinged and/or pneumatic and stayed in place when stopped, laid down when moving. Very cool in uncool states that require front plates. Oben may know a source.
