Okay, since you don't need the quad-shocks with the FFR 3-Link system, does anyone plan to, or have done so, removed the axle mounts? I would like to remove them before I powdercoat if its okay.

One other related question, did everyone receive all of their parts for the 3-Link kit? I ordered mine before the 3-day sale and didn't receive much of the hardware, the banana to the axle or the battery relocation kit (which I don't plan on using). I received everything else over two weeks ago and am still waiting for the banana brace so I can finish my trunk enlargement design.

Thanks,

Hank J.

Yeah, I chopped my quad shock mounting points off the axle tubes.

Use a 3" cut off tool and carefully use a 4" grinder to take what's left off.

Just be really careful with the 4" grinder, the metal the tubes are made out of is REALLY soft compared to the ford "Indestructium" arc weld.

You can get most of it off with the 3" cut off tool which is easy to control.
