I have a MK1 Roadster (18 years) and am looking into a retirement project down the road. I see the different makes of GT40’s but don’t know what is important, what is good, or bad.
RCR has an aluminum chassis- all I really know about it. It would be lighter than steel. Good for corrosion resistance.
CAV has a Stainless Steel Chassis. Would be corrosion resistant too. Heavier than aluminum. Tougher? Don’t know.
I’m 6’ tall with a 30” inseam. Want left hand drive. Want an accurate body. Want it to handle well and take a roll bar.
living in CA but may end up in TX or GA during this project. Or should I just buy one used perhaps and not sink a couple of years into it? Any advice?

RCR is the better choice. You won't have any issue fitting
