I think we are basically ready to call this graduated.

We recieved the kit 12/19/2011 and we basically finished it on 12/19/2012 but never took it out for a "legal" run.

We just got back from a great run. We also got some tuning done and she is running better then ever! It was a great day for going on a cruise.

We still have a couple odds and ends to finish off, but they will get done over time.

You can see our build thread in the sig but the basics are...

MK4
Ford Racing 427w
stainless headers
Wilwood front and rear brakes
Manual steering and brakes
Jim Inglese webers
TKO600
3.55 gears / 3 link
Paint by Jeff Miller

Now our next mission is the coupe :) Casey Family Build Thread (coupe))

~~~*sniff*~~~
Scoopy is all grown up. They grow up so fast these days...
The car looks awesome, Mike and Julie. Your build thread will go down in history as one of the most entertaining.
What motor are you going to put in the coupe? You gonna do Webers again?
Thanks everyone! We took it out the two dry days we had and discovered we are now addicted to driving (riding for me). I'm not sure how I'll feel in summer when it's super hot, but it is perfect in the cold. I bundle up, but there is enough heat coming in to keep us toasty. Gotta get the "lid" on the master cylinder area and stuff pool noodles in the appropriate locations. No rush. Heat is my friend right now. Anyway, I didn't know it would be so much fun!!!!
Very nice build, and I love that stacked engine! Also enjoyed the family build thread - my wife tolerates my garage addiction, but in no way enables it... Congrats!
