There's enough cars now finished that I thought it might be a good idea to have a separate thread where we can post photos of our (or ones we've seen at shows) cars as they are ready for Prime Time...............................

Here's a start.....................

There's no limit on how many photos you want to use and no particular format. Just the usual rules for FFCars.com. Detail shots, complete car shots, pretty scenery shots, cars parked, cars in motion..... It's all your choice.

Bill said we can make this a "Sticky" note so it stays at the top of the page. I figure this will save people time when looking for finished car pics.

Best regards,

Hi VII,

Nice black Snake! I'd asked Bill how to Sticky Note this to the thread, but haven't heard back. At least having another photo posted gets us back up the list a bit.

Anyone else know how to create a Sticky?

Charlotte Auto Fair

A little information about the blue car at the Charlotte Auto Fair. The color is House of Kolor Cobalt Blue Metalic. Had a 392 Windsor that sounded really nice. Like what they did with the hood. Basic black interior. Car drew a lot of attention.

I bet it drew attention.

Very nice job Frank.

I'd love to get your info for the google map. Location, chassis number, and whatever else you want me to add. It would help fill in the holes.

Also, I think I speak for everyone, it would be great to see a ton more pics of the car, construction pics, and all the tips you picked up along the way.

Charlotte Auto Fair

Geoff,
Unfortunately the car is not mine. It was being displayed at the Auto Fair. I can't remember the name of the company that built the car though. It was being displayed at the Ford Motorsport trailer. I will try and find the name of the company that completed the build.

Got it, duh.

That's the G&G car I think. I'll send Gil and email to see if he has some details he wants to share.

Thank You!

Thanks to Everyone for bringing some photos here. That all Blue car looks very nice with the Bullitt wheels. I don't think I'd seen that one before.

I might get a chance in May to have the car on the track for a few "touring" laps. If I can, I'll see if someone will take some pics for me. It would be fun to have some "dynamic" photos, too!

Best regards,

.....AHA show in Southern California.....

Thanks Kyle,

Well, we can guess that Lang knows who's it is. Nice rear fenders from Lang K's molds!

Best regards,
Tom

PS: Also, that orange/blue combo on the Cobra seems somewhat reminiscent of something I've seen before!

I like the Cobra! Is that the Gulf colors? (Orange Topaz?)
I went with Hugger Orange and Grabber Blue

The color Red looks similar to the red I used on mine. #007 is painted '08 Jaguar Red Mica with '08 GM Tan.

Road America Touring Photos

At the SVRA vintage race weekend a couple of weeks ago I toured the track during lunch hour while a buddy of mine drove my Challenge car. There was a photographer there who gave me his card. I'd forgotten about it until just today.

This link leads you to a bunch of pages of the Saturday session:

http://www.partypics.com

Once there enter "elkhart" as the password.

Then click on the Saturday photos and go to page 4 to see the '33 and the Pumpkin Racer.

Best regards,
