I just got my car back from the
painter after I had an accident with
the drill when putting in the little
hood hinge bolts. Very stupid on my part!

He might be interested in doing another this
winter if anyone is interested.

Last yr I took a chance on a friend of a friend after the guy in Rowley canceled at the last minute. He is really good to work with and I
am happy with the way mine turned out. Others
agree that it is a nice job.

Had my car for 1.5 months and sent pics on
a regular basis.

If anyone is interested, feel free to check out
mine first..

Dan, I might be interested. Where in NH? What sort of $$ is he charging? Did he do all the body work and seam work or just paint? Stripes?

Above I have posted the url to the pics.. Let me
know if there are any problems viewing.

As you can see, I opted for no stripes.

I fit the doors, hood, trunk, and did the edges
and also ground and filled the seams with
hsrf as I wanted to bake it in the sun for
a while (no ghosting last summer). I also
stripped the mold wax and did the initial
20 hrs of sanding with 100 grit.. I was
able to pop a lot of the little pin sized
air pockets by beating with a wire brush..
A few have shown up, but I didn't even notice
them. He likes them on a rolling buck if possible.

Take a ride up to Rockport some time and I'll show
you mine after 1 season on the road.

In my mind you did all the hard part though. If im going to pay someone to do my car, im dropping it off as it sits and picking it up done!

Rick painted my car as well. In my case I did allthe body work, fitting and priming.Rick did the final color and stripes. I'm happy with the job.
