Is catalyzed urethane as toxic when being sanded as it is when being sprayed ??

From a previous thread, I have decided against repainting my roadster another color but after nine years it does need a refreshing. Game plan is to prep it over the winter and spray it early spring with another coat of single stage BLACK urethane. I do not plan to take it down to the glass just a good scuffing , seal, prime, and paint. Bob

No. The isocyanates and other nasties in the solvents and catalyst are the real health hazards. It's always prudent to wear a dust make when sanding.
