Looks like the build will be held up a bit. My Wife is "forcing" me to Playa-del-Carmen for a week of exploring the Mayan ruins. I'll have to eat shrimp, drink beer and smoke a few Cuban cigars but someone has to do it, right?

Be back working on the car on the 10th.

I went to Cancun about a year ago and it was fun. You will like the driving style they have down there. But one of the best things that happend to me down there was a speeding cobra that flew by my wife and I as we were walking down the sidewalk. It was a very nice looking cobra from what I saw and it sounded good to.

We went to Mexico for 3 weeks last year, 2 days after my donor was delivered. It took awhile, but I was finally able to enjoy the trip and not think about what I needed to be doing at home. When I got back, the donor was still in garage and I got right to work. The job has been kicking my A-s lately and I need this trip.

It's actually Playa-del-Carmen. About 40 miles south of Cancun. I was sure folks had heard of Cancun but not sure how many would know about Playa. We spent a week or so there last year and had a great time. We both need to take so tiome off. Work for both of us has been HELL for the last month or so. Tiem to re-charge.....

Was in Playa (carnival cruise) this past March. Took advantage of one of the excursions to a beach club....that's where I got hold of the bad tequila! Woke up feeling terrible!

Are you going to Oahu? If so, check out Germain's Luau. They have their own beach up by Barber's point and they put out quite a spread. The show alone is well worth the price (it's been a while so I forget how much but recall it wasn't too expensive). Also, if no other sight seeing you have to go to Pearl for the Arizona Memorial tour. Very somber experience but something we should all do if given the chance.
