OT: Classic Mustang Help

I may be able to pick-up a restored 1967 S Code Mustang just for fun but I don't know jack about classic Mustangs. Are 1967 S Codes desirable? Are they dogs? What would be a fair price? Here is a description:

1967 Ford Mustang S Code (390-335 hp).

This is a numbers matching car with well over $40000.00 invested in frame up restoration. The body was media blasted to bare metal then repainted in original dark blue metallic (Sikkens, acrylic urethane with triple clear coat). All new chrome with exception of original vent windows that were re-chromed. Complete new interior (new dash, dash panels, instrument clusters, wood steering wheel, head liner, seats, floor carpet). Motor was rebuilt in 97 when restoration was started (has original intake manifold, Hooker competition headers, 2 1/2 inch pipes, Flowmasters and original exhaust tips. Trans was also rebuilt at same time and a Hurst shifter was installed. New 3.50 rear end. Original steel wheels and Firestone wide ovals with oversized G70 14”. Only 900 miles since 1990 and 350 miles since restoration. Six shows six first places. All documentation from restoration.

Thanks!

That Mustang is on my must have list, You know the one in your head for when you win the lottery :D One of my friends owned a 67 S-code 390 GT Fastback, and it was one of the most fun cars I ever drove. Is this car a fastback or coupe? How much do you think you can pick it up for? It sounds like a bautiful car. Go for it if the price is right.

See Ya
