If you get the pin drive IRS, it comes with the control arms I believe (but costs the same as the IRS and control arms separately). I ordered this IRS so I would have the option of the original style knock-offs but also because the IRS is narrower than the non-pin drive and gives you a rear wheel with a deeper dish (looks).

The powder coating is great. The heater works great, but don't waste your money getting it from FFR. Call Vintage Air (210-654-7171) and order part number 50610-VUH. It is the same exact heater FFR supplies. FFR charges $75-$100 more to include some completely worthless instructions.

I plan on using heated seats...still not sure on the powder coating...I might add the sway bars in the future with would require some welding on the frame...just not sure if it is worth the extra money to get the powder coating...when I can por 15 it for only $50...keep the information coming...thanks for all the post...

I liked the Por-15. It was easy to do and looks good. I don't know haw well it will hold up yet but it seems pretty tough.

They are working on a new hood hinge and if they don't have it ready by the time you order I would pass on it. The present hinge sucks. There are other options.

if your going 4-4 and heders call Mike Mack at Tri-states.. you get them quick and they are perfect. I am over a year waiting for mine with many mess-ups and am told I will see them in a few more weeks...

The ones I had were perfect from FFR just not for my set-up so had to send em back and get back in waiting line!

urgg

any cosmetic items get from other dealers out there. save u money and time...

79Pacer,

You going Racing or Show (or a bit of both like myself?)

I'd say the Lower Control Arms are worth the investment. You have to cut part of the Mustangs lower control arm if you want to be able to run 255's up front.

I'd go Powder Coat, but I'd have it done at a local shop for less money (and clean the limited weld splatter up before hand that FFR does do.)

If you want some show in there then here's my Short list
Smith Gauges,
Windwings,
Visors,
Anodize your Alum. Panels,

TAZ

if you are going with the Cobra R set up for brakes make sure you get the correct IFS bracket. Talk to them at the time of order they will help get you the right one..

I don't think the heated seats you plan is enough. I've had several other radsters and found that in cold weather as the wind whips up around your legs you need a heater that REALLY cranks. It can warm not only your feet but arms, legs thighs and even your face at lower speeds.

If you have a wife or girlfriend don't think that a hot ass is enough for them!
