Have had my roll bar at the chrome shop for nearly 3 months...supposedly they screwed up the "hoop" portion of the roll bar. Told me to call today and he would have it done. I just called them and the guy I need to talk to is unavailable, said to call back in 10 minutes. So I did. Someone answers and then hangs up. I call back...answering machine that says to call back later as they are closed. AGHHHHHHHHHHH!

Incompetency is running wild at this place!!!!

I am just a little on edge because they have another part that I need to send with the painter on Thursday so time is running out.

I need to take a chill pill. Thanks for listening. I feel better.

Well let's just say it is one here in town close to Grand Ave. that does EXCELLENT work and have even had people send them their roll bars from out of state. Maybe it is just the lady that answers the phone that doesn't relay messages.

I will relax, although I did leave a message on their answering machine for the one I need to talk to to call me on my cell phone before he leaves. I am not holding my breath.

I don't really want to say the name since I know they do awesome work (except for my mishap). Is saying the name unethical for this board?

Hello Ted, although I do and do not endorse putting the name on the board, three months and terrible service etc. is not acceptable. Maybe either all the success has gone to their heads, or they are so successful it has overwhelmed them with work. Either way time to grab your roll bar and run somewhere else.

Ted,
It's them, not you. Do you feel better knowing they did a good job for somebody else while they screw you over? I don't see the logic in protecting somebody like this. They make their reputation, not you. I'd quit the cat and mouse games, hop in the car, go over there and find out what the problem really is. Good luck.

Hey Ted I know who you are talking about, as a matter of a fact they have my rollbar right now.

I spoke to "the man" last week about my rollbar and he said that because everyone is different (different hole patterns and such) that each rollbar had to be done seperatly so parts wouldnt get mixed up.

I got the same treatment as well..I think its because they are in two seperate areas...But I called a few times and told the lady that answered I wanted a status and left my info and never got a call back on several occasions.

You HAVE to talk to "the man" to get anywhere.

It's still not done. It will be done tomorrow. He says he is too busy. Turning down work. I will ask him about yours tomorrow afternoon when I go pick it up.

Ours (roll bar) has been there for 2 months. Good thing we don't need it for a while.

I'll talk to Mike tomorrow and find out what's going on. He's my neighbor. Believe me our rollbars are a vary small portion of his work but he does consider them to be a high priority. If anyone has questions, get the answer straight from Mike.
