I have a set of the old style IRS hubs for my roadster and will be cleaning them and adding the poly bushings. I have seen a few builds where zerk fittings were added so as to lube the bushings once installed but this was not done by all who installed these hubs.

My question for those who are in the know, is this really necessary?
If you have this old style IRS and didn't do it, would you do it when replacing bushings, if you did it, what zerks would you recommend?

Thanks in advance,
Achi

Poly bushings require regular maintenance, or they start to squeak. And that's incredibly annoying! Installing a grease fitting is a good idea, IMO.
