Any idea on the ballpark operating temperature for the oil. I'm running Smith's gauges, I'm guessing around 90-100 on the water temp, no idea on the oil temp. By the way, that is 90-100 C.

With Smith Gauges you should get a different reading every time you start up....sometimes good....sometimes bad...

FWIW
Most oil cooler thermostats open between 180 and 200 degrees F. Oil temps can be expected to be higher. I'm not sure of the operating range but it will be above 100C
