While the body is off I upgraded to the AN oil lines. Looks great and so much more secure than clamps. Well worth the $120 to me.

Also have some pics of progress on the body work here Body Progress

Tom, Looks great! Length and everything, even looks like you got some of the neato AN wrenches as well... I've been too cheap to buy some hence, why all my connections have nicks and chips.
Cant wait to see it in paint, keep up the great work!

Tom,

Nicely done. Would you mind telling us where you ordered the parts and what the parts numbers were?
Including lengths

Thanks,
Stefan

Tom, looks great!
I put those on my car after reading several posts about the rubber lines splitting over time.

One suggestion for those of you wanting to do this: go ahead and replace the FFR supplied oil filter engine block adapter while you install the braided lines. It is real easy to crack the adapter with the NPT fittings. I replaced mine with a Canton billet aluminum adapter which is much stronger and makes positioning the lines easier.

Here is what I used.

4 ea fittings EAR-981610- 1/2 to 10AN
1 6' pkg hose AER-FCA1006- 10AN
2 ea -10AN st fittings AER-FCM1014 (at engine)
2 ea -10AN 45 deg fittings AER-FCM4024 (at filter)

I also got the Aeroquip softgrip vise jaws which made assembly really easy.
I did not get the wrenches. I was just very careful and used some electrical tape when I had to use the open end wrench.

Used about 33" of the hose.

Got it all from Summit.
