Here is the update on my oil leak. At first I thougt I blew out the pan gasket after my supercharger install. Well, after further inspection, LOTS of clean up oil from EVERYWEHRE, here is what I found. Last night I changed the oil pan gasket and took it for a spin today. Still leaks. I noticed that my MSD box which is mounted on the firewall was wet with oil. I also noticed lots of oil on the top of the bellhousing. I cleaned everything off and went for a test drive again. I saw oil pouring down the back of the firewall onto the bellhousing and down to the pan (then on the floor). It looks like it is coming from the very top of the engine. Any thoughts?

The rear intake manifold gasket. If you used a cork gasket, it probably blew out. You should use a bead of silicone instead of the gaskets. (this goes for the front gasket too)

Where were you guys a week ago? You nailed it! Oil leaks are sneaky. They go all over and make it look like they are coming from everywhere. After cleaning EVERYTHING, I test drove the car and noticed that the oil was leaking from the back of the intake. I decided to take off the upper intake. As I was pulling the pcv hose off the intake, the whole pcv unit was hanging in mid air. Once I got the intake off, I could see that the hole the pcv goes into was blowing oil onto the firewall and dripping all over everything. I must have blown out the pcv before I vented the crankcase. I tried to push it back in, but it was kind of worn. I made some mods and put it all back together, with outstanding results.

After two weeks of installing my Vortech supercharger and a weekend of oil leak diagnostics, I went for a test drive. For those of you that have not expirienced boost...it's like a drug! I couldnt drive enough to get it out of my system. The car hauls butt now, but not quite like "Mr. Potato Heads" "Potato" I drove....I tell you about that in another post.

had the same problem, port the valve covers to a remote puke tank and it will go away, the blower will make a mess and will drive you nuts... Big boost requires different thinking. The stock pcv valve will have failed under boost cond and will pop out, run both valve covers to a puke tank...
