As suggested by numerous people on this Forum I am planning to use the Neutral safety switch between the ignition and the relay as a fail safe. Should I just cut off the connector that is currently on the switch and hard wire it in or do I need the other end of the connector?

If I use the clutch safety switch do I need to do anything to the neutral switch pigtail coming out of the trans or does it already have a jumper?

I've got a carb setup with American Autowire harness. As I understand it you wire the neutral safety switch (or clutch safety switch in line with the wire running from the ignition to the relay - it is not getting the full current of the starter motor.
