I was able to use the one off my '89 mustang(4 cyl). had to make a bracket to hold it at the front of the block, and bought a kit with different size ball pivot pieces from the auto parts store(made by holley). put the correct size ball on the carb, made the bracket to fit so the carb would open all the way. so far seems to work fine.

I had Lokar make 50 custom cables that are 42" long. They can be cut to fit, but I found the 36" cable not quite long enough.
