Try one of these: Performance Distributors It has worked great in my 302. When you order one, you fill out a fairly extensive order form. Max RPM's, weight (car not driver!), etc. It was less expensive than the complete dist., wires, coil, looms etc. from JEGS or Summit.
Crane has some very nice ignition equipment out. I have their new street/race distributor. I've seen nothing like it. It's awesome. It won a SEMA award about a year ago. Total and vacuum advance settings can be set with the turn of a dial. You must use a box with a magnetic trigger singal. The cost is less than the Performance Distributor which I was considering. Make sure you check them out.--Dan
dennis, i had no idea you could get these from
are you positive this has a steel gear?
steel- has a machined look to all of it.
iron- just the gear part is machined..
if so, great starting point!
Dennis, I went MSD, but let a Machinist talk me into a bronze gear. BAD MISTAKE. I caught it at 6000 miles just before EXPENSIVE things were going to happen.
By all means get the Steel, but don't rely on Autozone. A search perhaps all the way back to 2002 you will find a Cobra Earl posting on how to check to make sure your gear is Steel. DON'T GUESS. Check it.

I am working on several projects around the house, including the finishing of my basement. I use Microsoft Project at work, and think that these projects could benefit from some project management. I do not want to drop $500 on Microsoft Project. Can anyone recommend a decent package that is...
As you put miles on your car, ever so often check the parking light chrome trim ring.... OR you will be like me ordering one from FinishLine to replace the one that fell off!
On the parking lights the amber plastic is a twist on and off to cover the bulb. The plastic lens has a fitted chrome...
I tracked it down. Thanks. LK motorsports built the car.
Have friend who just bought an FFR from a lien sale and we are trying to find out is history, owners, kit number, etc. All that came from the lien sale was a clean SB100 title. Here is what we know about the car.

After seeing some recent threads and looking at some engine builders websites and prices i am just blown away. OVer 6K for a long block stroker without an intake carb etc-you must be crazy. I built by 302 with cobra valve covers, oval air cleaner, chris richards mass-flo system, 30lb injectors...
