Yes. The short filter for a V8 Dodge will fit and function on a Ford.

Look for mid 80’s Ford LTD with police package. They had a shorter oils filter to fit an adapter for an oil cooler.

It’s got a cop motor, cop tires, cop, suspension, cop shocks, and a cop oil filter!
