I would like to replace the wires coming out of my headlight switch instead of splicing them but cannot find the terminals to replace them. Does anybody know if these are available or the entire connector separate from the switch itself?

Thanks

Are you needing the whole connector - which would be a pigtail that requires butt splicing into the harness - or are you looking for the actual individual wire terminals? Those are probably out there, too.

The ones in the plug can be undone - a small thin screwdriver will release the tab holding them in the housing, and the crimp holding them onto the wire pried loose. It's tedious, but often what the factory outlines in their TSB's when a repair is needed, as they don't stockpile the small ends.

If shortening the loom is the point, reusing the ones you have is possible. New is nice to have, too.

Just reading the post with a different interpretation.

Thanks guys, I found one on Amazon. It was the connector off my old car that I cut the wires off of when I dis-assembled it. I just didn't want to have 7 butt connections 6 inches away from the connector and now for $8 I don't have to.

I put it together originally and I tend to be a little heavy handed on crimping so it would have been tough to get them back apart without breaking the tabs.
