Hey guys I live in Va, and got an e-mail one day from a local lady who told me she had gotten my address from FFR.
Now it Seems she has a boyfriend in tx(Houston) and he was interested in building a FFR Roadster, He was also visiting her for Thanksgiving and they wanted to come see our Cobra. Well like most other guys I am willing to share my baby and love to show her off and we spent a couple days that weekend showing them mycobra and took them to see one under construction.
Of course they fell in love with the car and he has now ordered his kit for delivery in mid January.
Now here is where I need your help. His name is Lee and I'm sorry to say I never got the last name, but he has no access to a computer other than through his girlfriend here in Va. I have told all about the forum here and asked tonight when we talked on the phone if he would mind if I gave his number to you guys in his area so he could meet you and have some one closer to talk to if he needed some help, I wouldn't mind helping all I can and still hope to hear from him on his progress but just thought it would be better for him if he had some local contacts.
So if any of you are willing to help him out e-mail me and I will pass on his numbers so you can get in touch with him, I am sure he would apreciate it alot.

If he wants to see a spec racer under construction then I will be glad to show him mine and all the modifications we have done to make the car fit me (6'3", 235 lbs). If that is of interest then just let me know when and where, OK?

I have met Lee and I showed him our car. It was raining when he came over and could not give him a ride. I'm listed as a contact in Houston and Factory Five has given out my phone number and email several times. I believe that Pete Gibbs? is also on Factory Five's Houston contactlist. Lee mentioned that he got a ride from you and you did an "acceleration test" and that he got to see a big block car under construction. I think he does have access to a computer because he gave me his email address. Turns out that he lives just a few miles from me.
