I think what you're asking is, "Can you build a NON-donor car?" A resounding "YES!" would be in order.
I and many others have taken the non-donor route and it is very doable albeit somewhat tedious as there is no "central list" of exactly what is needed, i.e. bolts and sizes, various fittings, etc., etc., etc. It is a "learn as you go, measure twice, cut once" ordeal. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat!
I would be wiling to bet almost half of those here actually build a non donor car, by the time they get thru with all the upgrades. Especially in the suspension arena. But remember one thing it's designed for a 3000 lb plus car not your 2000 lb FFR, you can compensate with rigid bushings, sway bars, panhard bar, adjustable 600# plus shocks and good rubber.
Have fun building it, cause you dont know fun till you drive it.
