I guess it's true about Murphy's Law. Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong when it is least expected. I have been all excited about ordering my kit and then I had a few nasty problems show their head in the past few days. I guess I will just have to put all my stuff away for now and keep dreaming about the kit..... Maybe it will happen sometime next year..... :(

Sorry to hear that dude. If it's any consolation, better you didn't order the kit, tie up your cash and time only to find out that that "things" came up. Then you'd have to deal with the issues and the interrupted build at the same time.

Keep the faith, I hope things work out for you.

John, here's what I did. I drank some delicious Miller High Life beer. I noticed the caps had some car parts printed under them. I began to save them until I could figure out why. I logged on to Miller's web site to find out what's the deal. They said it was a contest to win a 427 Roadster, collect all ten and I could win a car. I played. I won! The day I won it, I had no idea what a 427 Roadster was. I went online and typed in 427 Roadster to see what one looked like. I thought I was winning a car like was on Happy Days, some kind of T bucket or fenderless rod. WOW! This was a sports car! I had only seen 1 of these in my life and that was 30,000 dollars worth. The car was delivered on Sept. 21, this year. To make a long story short, I thank the Lord for allowing me to win this terrific car, I certainly didn't deserve it. If you pray hard enough, and it's the Lord's will, your car will come too, I promise. Oh yea, drink some Miller too.

Man, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about!

I recently was "minutes" away from ordering one of those killer stack injection systems for my new project.....
....then the mail showed up.
The first thing I opened was from the bank, seems that the "deposit check" I received for a motor I had for sale, was no good.

The next was a nice little note from blue cross/blue shield (otherwise known as "we-screw-'em & how") saying that my health insurance premiums are going up.

The little increase has brought my freaking health ins premiums to a hundred bucks more than my house payment every month!!!

...I'd love to tell them to go F**K themselves, but I have a wife & daughter to think of ,,,,soooo,,,, my toys will wait.
