Hi
Just got my new 331 stroker with atomic efi from EF ( no return system).
Started to find a location for the PWM fuel pump.
The manual state "max 2 feet" from the tank and" below bottom of the tank".
I got IRS and the best place I have found for the pump is just front of the tank and behind the x-member.
The pump inlet will still be about 1" above bottom.

Anyone know how sensitive this system is for such installation?
I want to believe it will such ones its primed but I dont know.

Anyone Installed msd fuel injection to a roadster?
Thank you
Johan

Yep - installed but not yet running.
Using an in-tank (OEM-style) fuel pump.
1st start hopefully in a few weeks ... OK, maybe right after Christmas.
Will post details/experience/observations once I get to that point.

Johan, where are you located? It's been shown that PWM style EFI conversions with no return line are effected by heat. We've seen a few of these setups really not run well in hot climates. The Atomic can be run with a return line as well and then you can use the standard in-tank pump setup and not worry about mounting the pump externally.

Just a thought...

Ok thanks
Lynn, looking forward to see yor installation and get your feedback when it is done.
Maybe the temperature is more critical?
I live in Sweden so normal summer-day is between 70-80F
(a few days up to 85-86F)
I guess a return line is to prefere..
Not a big problem run a return line to the tank.
In the other hand if it can't work in that climat, who can install a return less system?
