Has anyone felt the need to move their steering column forward by maybe an inch? I am using the non telescoping column.

Would there be any interference moving the turn signal and wiper stalks closer to the dash?

Roger , I moved mine forward about 3/4" - 7/8".
Worked out fine and the stalks are not too close to the dash.
I have the telescoping column and did this when installing
the power steering.

Thanks Jim. I will be moving mine forward by an inch. I lost that inch by using the quick release steering wheel adaptor.

Here are some pics of how I moved my non telecsoping steering column forward 1". There is much increased rigidity. Its a solid mount.
